These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of showmyrates.comand the services offered on it (the "Service"), operated by ShowMyRates ("ShowMyRates," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service Is (and Is Not)

ShowMyRatesis a free comparison and marketing service. We help consumers request car insurance quotes by matching the information they submit with third-party insurance companies, agencies, and their licensed representatives ("insurance partners").

• We are not an insurance company, insurance agency, broker, producer, or financial or insurance advisor, and nothing on the Service is insurance, legal, or financial advice.
• We do not sell, underwrite, issue, or service insurance policies, and we do not make coverage decisions or set prices.
• All quotes, rates, and offers come from third-party insurance partners. They are estimates, are not guaranteed, may change, and are subject to each partner's own underwriting, eligibility rules, and terms. Your actual price and coverage are determined solely by the insurer you choose.
• Content on the Service is provided for general informational purposes only. Verify any coverage decision with a licensed insurance professional.

2. Eligibility

The Service is available only to individuals who are at least 18 years old and located in the United States. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you submit is accurate, current, and about yourself (or someone who has authorized you to act for them).

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or third-party information without authorization;
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
• Access the Service with bots, scrapers, or other automated means, or attempt to probe, disrupt, overload, or circumvent the security of the Service;
• Copy, resell, or commercially exploit the Service or its content without our written permission;
• Interfere with any other person's use of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at our discretion, including for violation of these Terms.

4. Intellectual Property

The Service and its content — including text, graphics, logos, page designs, and software — are owned by ShowMyRates or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial use. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. Third-party names and logos that appear on the Service belong to their respective owners, and their appearance does not imply endorsement of ShowMyRates.

5. Third-Party Sites and Offers

The Service contains links to, and connects you with, third-party websites, insurance partners, and offers. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites, products, quotes, policies, prices, or conduct — including any communications you receive from insurance partners after submitting a quote request. Your dealings with any third party, including the purchase of any insurance policy, are solely between you and that third party and are governed by that third party's own terms and privacy policy.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE; THAT ANY CONTENT IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT; OR THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE ANY PARTICULAR QUOTE, RATE, SAVINGS, OR COVERAGE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHOWMYRATES AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR COSTS OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES — ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY THIRD-PARTY PRODUCT OR OFFER, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ShowMyRatesand its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, the information you submit, or your violation of these Terms or of any applicable law.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service that is not resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and post the updated Terms here. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
